Feels like I haven't written any blogs for ages. Things have been pretty... crazy these past few weeks...

First, my summer vacation have been running pretty smoothly (surprisingly). I felt like I have learned a lot and that it will help me be more organized for this third and last year of my program. I also had good comments about nurses I have been working with this summer, this is certainly a great motivation to pursue what I am aiming for! For being so supportive, I would like to show my infinite gratitude to the nurses I have been working with throughout this summer in the Cardiology department of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. Thank you, you guys have been great, fun, and I really admire how much of yourself you put in this profession.

Summer ends and school starts again. The beggining of the last year... Yes. When you come to think of it, it's pretty scary to know that it will end very soon. A blend of worries, and excitement. I'm almost there. And this semester will surely be not that easy, believe me! I'll be starting my internship next week for two weeks, evening shift. I will then have a break of two weeks before I continue with three more weeks of internship on day shift. Pretty tiring indeed...
Talking about nursing, I have heard that second year nursing students are learning what we, seniors, are learning at the moment. This is something new the program have integrated... I believe this is really great, really. Nurses are so much in demand, that's the least they could do. We need to give them the formation as early as possible, and give them the most autonomy that we can. But that means way much more responsability for them... Will they be able to manage this? I mean, those second year students are even younger than I am... And I remember how crazy it was last year... They should be careful on that... Nothing to reconsider, just becareful...
With that being said, the start of the new semester have been going pretty harsh... my first two exams have been going... hmmmmmmkayy... and I have done another one this morning... Wonder how it will turn out...
My migraines have been horrible these past few days... I have met the doctor and she prescribed be some medication but it doesn't seem to work. No wonder it is to hard to focus on exams with migraines... not to mention my complicated love life... Anyways, I'll cut things short again, I have to get some rest.
